A healthy breakfast treat you may serve with juice or milk, or fruit and cheese.

• 2 cups wheat bran

• 1/2 cup unbleached flour

• 2 tablespoons molasses

• 2 tablespoons canola oil

• 1 cup warm water

• 2 tablespoons sugar

• 2 teaspoon baking powder

• 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation: Mix in a bowl molasses, oil, sugar, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients, wheat bran, flour, and baking powder. Add water and stir. Let sit a few minutes then pour into a nonstick loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
