Cranberry Apple Crisp!
Serves 12
Ingredients:
•8 apples
•2 cups cranberries
•2 cup oats
•1/2 cup all-purpose flour
•1/4 cup brown sugar
•1-2 tablespoons cinnamon
•1/2 cup water
Directions:
Wash and peel 8 apples, of any variety you choose. We used locally grown McIntosh and Macoun apples. Cut each apple into about 8 pieces, discarding the cores. Mix apples with 1-2 tablespoons cinnamon, and ¼ cup brown sugar. Add 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 cup oats to bowl. Pack into ungreased glass baking dish. Add 2 cups raw washed cranberries. Be sure to check each berry is firm and the stems are removed. Add 1/2 cup water, or more as needed. Bake at 350degree F. for one hour, or until apples and cranberries are soft.
